|Summary||0004999: Problem with XML importing testcases|
|Description||After generating the tests in my software in an XML suitable for testLink, I simply cannot import them because the file is too big (around 10MB). I have to split it into aprox. 1.4 Mb files and the import them. |
I think the problem is that there are too many insert statements to the database either simultaneously or in a short period of time. So maybe the problem is not with the filesize, is with the number of tests it contains.
Also, When inserting test cases into a test plan, using the "Add /Remove Test cases" menu, it gets to a point where I simply cannot add anymore tests. The limit is always around 1100 tests. When I try to insert even a single test case after the limit was reached, it doesn't insert. It doesn't give an error message or anything.
|Steps To Reproduce||XML file is in file provided. Just import in testLink. Also included is the database DUMP, as requested.|
