Summary0002060: Use Results Scripts as Nightly Build Script to create autom. the status reports
DescriptionThe plan ist to make Reporting as automatically job in nightly build scheduling.

1. Define php report scripts (n)
2. Define variables per script (date from, to, Testplan anem, keywords etc)
(the fields which we have to fill manually in testlink in Test Metrices)
3. Define Result Format and name & path
4. Run script every night over scheduler

Additional InformationBackground:
We want to save time for status reporting about the test progress

We plan to establish a Test Dashboard where all information will
collect for management summary every day.

The first step ist to run defined php scripts from
/results folder with defined variables

Our Scheduler is Hudson

I think about new directory tools which could contain command line scripts. The easy one could generate for example failed test report. There are two mandatory parameters: TestPlan ID (or name) and email(s).

I do not know system Hudson, but cron should be able to send report as well.

cron is ok, we could change to Hudson Jobs
- I think we need some more variables to set
- I think all variable fields in TestMetrics are needed, to really define
Builds, Keywords, Date from to, etc. for the report

- Also we need a parsing of
  - all failed
  - all OK
  - all open
 - Is there a php script possible to collect such information for management
