Summary0001251: Schedular feature for reporting.
DescriptionWe have been using testlink in our company for a while now, and it works like a charm. Thanks for such a great product.

1. Will it be possible to have a schedular implemented in the results tab where in one can schedule the reports to be sent on a specified time and day on regular basis. ?

Let me know if you need any more clarification on the above 2 features ? I woudl be glad to add more info to it.

using an scheduler will be operation system dependent.
this feature will be something like adding cron jobs that launches php command line to run some TL page.
problem is to know how to interact on windows environment with scheduled tasks.

on windows (xp+ at least) it can be control panel\scheduled task concept which would work similar.

Ok. Initiation differes according to system. It's known and not problem.
But what is missing is a script, that will be called. Am I right anilkanchi?

I can imagine:
a) user/testPlanOwner can set monitoring of a TestPlan via email reports (a new table || new special tPlan right* should be added)
b) daily report could be developed
c) a script will be added to collect data for all monitored tPlans and send it

Is it what you looking for?
